Tim Shaw has been a lifelong researcher in the fields of the Paranormal and the Metaphysical. Growing up in Western New York State and having relatives in the Lily Dale Spiritualist Assembly ~ A Spiritualist Community ~ it was only natural for him to develop an interest in these mystical fields. Having been brought up Roman Catholic and Spiritualist, gave Tim great insights into the miraculous as well as the phenomena of the worlds around us.
Tim Shaw is a successful author, lecturer, media personality, and photographer and has been sought out to consult and appear in movies and television. Some of his credits include Discovery Channel's Ghost Lab, SyFy's Ghost Hunters, Spike's Ghost Ops, and Destination America's Paranormal Lockdown.

Existing structures built on the property date back from the early 1820s, the Western Block Complex holds mystery and intrigue. Learn of Accidental Deaths, Murder, Mayhem, and Mischievousness…. What will you uncover?
Long regarded as highly haunted, join Rev Tim Shaw and Paranormal Investigators Frank, Jon, and that Terrific ParaChic, owner of the Historic Western Block Complex as they lead guest investigators and the curious into the depths of the Western Block's active locations, including those not available to the general public, in an effort to connect with spirits who still call the complex their home.
Experienced paranormal hotspots explored include a selection from the following: Stone Room, Speakeasy, Woodworker's Gallery, Grounds, Safe/s, Isles, Galleries, Tunnel, Barn, Conference Room, Assembly Hall, Classrooms, Lumber Room, Foundry, Mechanic St & Alley Way, and Machine Shops.**
Employ handheld monitoring equipment, review captured evidence, and participate in group Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) recording sessions and experimentation that place you directly in an investigation environment. Use our investigation equipment or bring your own!
It's an exciting evening of historic tales and paranormal discoveries.
**Please note: Due to the historic nature of the complex we are unable to guarantee access to any specific room or location on our tours, though we will ensure a variety of locations are investigated. Also, not all areas are easily accessible by guests with mobility issues. This tour includes multiple flights of stairs, spaced out over different periods and areas of the tour and complex.

- Guests must please arrive no earlier than 5:30 pm, and no later than 5:45 pm for Check-In at Registration.

- Please note, not all areas are easily accessible by guests with mobility issues or concerns. This tour includes multiple flights of stairs, spaced out over different periods of the tour and areas of the complex. There is no elevator on-site. Please call us BEFORE purchasing tickets regarding accessibility concerns, and to see what kinds of accommodations can be made. Please wait at the front building’s iron gates for Admission. || Guests must please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before their ticket start time, and no later than 15 minutes before their ticket start time.
Indoor Tours
Most parts of the tour are heated, some parts are not - we suggest wearing layers.
No outside food. No outside drinks.
Parts of the Western Block Complex are an Active Arts & Cultural Center with numerous priceless artworks on display. No outside food or drinks are allowed on any tours.

The property and grounds of the Western Block are a smoke free / vape free environment, no exceptions. No outside food or outside beverages will be allowed. No refunds, all ticket sales are final.
